There’s no pain.

Perhaps I’m already dead. A walking corpse. Another thing I can’t do properly.

Another failure on my part.

I extend my legs and let my head fall to the edge of the bathtub beside me. Déjà Vu washes over me like a tsunami raining down destruction and swallowing up everything in its path.

Birds chirping.

Blood pooling.

Breaths fading.

I’m caught in this moment, spinning in a vicious circle. The entire world is laughing at me, finding joy in my sorrow. They don’t know how I feel, but their voices…
